Health Sciences

Health Science Education programs are designed to introduce the students to a variety of health careers.  Students acquire knowledge and skills that will prepare them for existing and emerging careers in health science through theory, observation, and hands-on study in classroom and clinical laboratory settings.

Program Requirements

Students seeking to enter the TCTC Health Sciences

Program should:

 

  • Have a sincere interest in a career in Health Sciences 

  • Have at least a "B" average in science

  • Have no "N"s or "U"s in conduct

  • Be respecful and work well with others (a MUST in health care)

All Health Science students need the following items in our courses:

  • Lab Coat (monogrammed with student name) 

  • A Set of Scrubs    

  • CTSO Membership 

  • Class T-Shirt
