Nestled in the heart of the Frayser/Raleigh and North Memphis community is Trezevant Career & Technology Center.  We have a team of dedicated teachers and administrative support staff that are compassionate about the well-being of our students, their families, and the communities in which they live.  When you walk into our building you will be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.

  

TCTC is a specialty school that “Prepares Professionals for the Future”.  We have a safe and unique learning environment, and we believe in the importance of active parental, community, and business and industry partnerships to provide higher-level learning experiences for the students.  We currently have a student-run bank at our center, the only Diesel Technology program in the district, as well as the only warehouse in a secondary school setting in the state for our Logistics and Distribution program.  Our center is vital to the success of the District’s 10-year strategic plan, Destination 2025, because our center has a high school and post-secondary culture combination.  In our classes we show students how learning connects to life, work and the outside world beyond the walls of the school.  Not only are all of our teachers highly qualified, but they are industry certified in the programs that they teach.

We have begun a new era of innovation and excellence in student achievement by interweaving academic curriculum, industry experiences, dual enrollment/dual credit, industry certifications, clinical practice and internships as well as theory into the classroom and the community.  It is our mission and vision to harness the power of our students, the power of our resources, the power of our community, and the power of our partnerships to bring the vision to fruition.
